Artemis 2: the AI film that reached millions
Thirteen scenes, 22 seconds, not one real frame. How CGEYE made the Artemis 2 film entirely with AI, and what happened when it hit social media.

In April 2026, CGEYE published a 22-second reel about NASA's Artemis II mission. Not a single frame came from NASA: every image was generated with artificial intelligence and finished with human editing. The reel passed 2 million views on Instagram, with 160 thousand likes. On Facebook, a single cut of the film passed 5 million views.

One film, thirteen scenes
The project was treated like a real film: a storyboard, thirteen scenes, one technical spec per shot, and hundreds of generated takes to keep only seconds. From the crew walkout to the booster burn, from the far side of the Moon to reentry, every shot was directed, discarded and redone until it felt inevitable. The discipline is in the discard.

The launch

Fifty years of waiting. Three parachutes. Home. The arrival cut traveled furthest: over 5 million views on Facebook, the biggest number of any CGEYE piece on any network.
